OMG only 5 days until I move back to UMW!! I am going to miss my family and friends so much, but I am excited to see everyone when I get back. Now I need to get my haircut tomorrow and get SweetFrog with my cousin Candice, then hang out with one of my best friends Tiffany on Thursday, finish packing, and try to figure some other things out.
Had a pretty good day, spent it with my mama and brother. Went and got more stuff to go back to school, can’t believe only 9 more days until I move in. Anyways, while driving on the interstate out of nowhere I heard police sirens and freaked and was looking in all my mirrors, still didn’t see a cop and was freaking out because I can’t get another ticket!! Turns out he was in my blind spot like 2 lanes over and was going ahead of me, thank God! Possibly going fishing with my brother tomorrow and helping out at the MDA Carnival at church Sunday!
This is just a little look into how I am feeling. Feel free to read it or ignore it…
So I am feeling a little bitter sweet about going back to school. I still have about 2 weeks but just thinking about it makes me kinda sad. I miss everyone at school and being on my own but then being home I just love being with my family and close friends. Last summer, I jumped straight into college and was only home for about 3 weeks of the summer so I didn’t have the entire time to sit home and enjoy a break, but this summer I have been home and was able to do so many things. I went to New York with the Young Adult Group from my church where I just felt like I could make a difference in someones life and we were able to meet so many awesome people that I won’t ever forget. Then I was able to go on vacation to Florida with my mama and brother, where I felt like I got a little closer to them than I already was. If you don’t know me that well, my mama is like my best friend and I tell her almost everything. I love being home for those reasons but I feel like the more I sit at home the more I think about different things and I need a break from that now, that’s why I feel bitter sweet because I don’t want to leave my family, I just can’t sit here and think all the time. But this year will be my second year at Mary Washington and I am soooo excited, I love UMW and the people I have met there.
The little things always seem to make me smile. He called just to say good night:)
